Apple sub-ohm kit IQOS in New Zealand: the cheap shortlist
Apple in New Zealand: 7 units tested over 4 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
A apple sub-ohm kit from the cheapest options in New Zealand costs about NZ$3.56 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at apple in New Zealand, the first question is not strength. It is whether the sub-ohm kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: apple in New Zealand works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple sub-ohm kit really costs in New Zealand
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In New Zealand that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within NZ$3.56 per 10 ml.
How we tested apple in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Zealand, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in New Zealand, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into New Zealand.
Where apple goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Zealand stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for apple in New Zealand must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
New Zealand sets its own nicotine rules by regulation, not EU TPD.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On apple the budget price and the premium price can sit within NZ$3.56 per 10 ml once 4–8 business days is counted.
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
