Blackcurrant disposable vape IQOS in New Zealand: the flat shortlist — Iqosnewzealand
Blackcurrant in New Zealand: 7 units tested over 6 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
How we tested Blackcurrant disposable vape here
If you are looking at blackcurrant in New Zealand, the first question is not strength. It is whether the disposable vape you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run blackcurrant the same way in New Zealand: same disposable vape, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the disposable vape you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant disposable vape really costs in New Zealand
Blackcurrant sounds like one product. It is not: a disposable vape running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested blackcurrant in a disposable vape
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Zealand, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into New Zealand.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest disposable vape available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why blackcurrant tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
New Zealand sets its own nicotine rules by regulation, not EU TPD. Shipping of nicotine to New Zealand runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in New Zealand sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the disposable vape units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in New Zealand?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–8 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should blackcurrant start at?
Start at whatever New Zealand allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a disposable vape.
