Candy RDA IQOS in New Zealand: the cheap shortlist
Candy in New Zealand: 9 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
Choosing a RDA for candy
Candy sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
A candy RDA from the cheapest options in New Zealand costs about NZ$3.55 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: candy in New Zealand works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a candy RDA really costs in New Zealand
Ordering into New Zealand usually means waiting 4–8 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested candy in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where candy goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Zealand accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in New Zealand stocks.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Zealand need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in New Zealand sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to New Zealand?
Yes, tracked to 4–8 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does candy taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the candy blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should candy start at?
Start at whatever New Zealand allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
