Candy RDA IQOS in New Zealand: the order shortlist
Candy in New Zealand: 11 units tested over 6 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Candy prices move with import duty more than with brand. In New Zealand that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within NZ$2.71 per 10 ml.
Ordering into New Zealand usually means waiting 4–8 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long candy tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a candy RDA really costs in New Zealand
Candy sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested candy in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Zealand, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where candy goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing candy with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
New Zealand sets its own nicotine rules by regulation, not EU TPD.
Retail sales in New Zealand sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should candy start at?
Start at whatever New Zealand allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in New Zealand: about NZ$2.71 per 10 ml liquid plus NZ$68 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On candy the budget price and the premium price can sit within NZ$2.71 per 10 ml once 4–8 business days is counted.
