Caramel box mod IQOS in New Zealand: the flat shortlist
Caramel in New Zealand: 19 units tested over 8 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
How to tell a good box mod from a repack
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Zealand. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Ordering into New Zealand usually means waiting 4–8 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Below is the run we did for this search: 19 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel box mod really costs in New Zealand
Caramel sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested caramel in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Zealand, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in New Zealand, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into New Zealand.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Treating the advertised NZ$52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run NZ$3.03 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Zealand stocks.

Frequently asked questions
How long does caramel in a box mod last?
In New Zealand we measured 8 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.

Is caramel legal to sell in New Zealand?
