Cherry squonk mod IQOS in New Zealand: the flat shortlist
Cherry in New Zealand: 7 units tested over 5 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
How to tell a good squonk mod from a repack
A cherry squonk mod from the flat-rate options in New Zealand costs about NZ$1.66 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Cherry sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long cherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cherry squonk mod really costs in New Zealand
Cherry in New Zealand reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested cherry in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Zealand, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Treating the advertised NZ$55 entry kit as the real cost when refills run NZ$1.66 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Zealand stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cherry in New Zealand survives.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Zealand need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
New Zealand sets its own nicotine rules by regulation, not EU TPD. Shipping of nicotine to New Zealand runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
