Cola RDA IQOS in New Zealand: the compare shortlist
Cola in New Zealand: 15 units tested over 7 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
Ordering IQOS to New Zealand: the practical version
We run cola the same way in New Zealand: same RDA, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A cola RDA from the compared options in New Zealand costs about NZ$2.17 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: cola in New Zealand works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cola RDA really costs in New Zealand
If you are looking at cola in New Zealand, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested cola in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in New Zealand, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a cola bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where cola goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in New Zealand stocks.
- Treating the advertised NZ$46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run NZ$2.17 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Zealand sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does cola in a RDA last?
In New Zealand we measured 7 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does cola taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the cola blend itself harsh.
Is cola legal to sell in New Zealand?
New Zealand sets its own nicotine rules by regulation, not EU TPD.
