Dessert box mod IQOS in New Zealand: the guide shortlist
Dessert in New Zealand: 10 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
How we tested Dessert box mod here
Dessert sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Dessert in New Zealand reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a dessert box mod really costs in New Zealand

How we tested dessert in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every dessert bottle shipped into New Zealand.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Zealand, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why dessert tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On dessert the budget price and the premium price can sit within NZ$3.0 per 10 ml once 4–8 business days is counted.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in New Zealand: about NZ$3.0 per 10 ml liquid plus NZ$61 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
