Dessert pen device IQOS in New Zealand: the flat shortlist
Dessert in New Zealand: 8 units tested over 9 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
Ordering IQOS to New Zealand: the practical version
Dessert pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Dessert sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert pen device really costs in New Zealand
The honest read on dessert: 8 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested dessert in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in New Zealand, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every dessert bottle shipped into New Zealand.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in New Zealand stocks.
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long dessert in New Zealand survives.
The rules that apply here
New Zealand sets its own nicotine rules by regulation, not EU TPD.

Frequently asked questions
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
How long does dessert in a pen device last?
In New Zealand we measured 9 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is dessert legal to sell in New Zealand?
New Zealand sets its own nicotine rules by regulation, not EU TPD.
