Dessert squonk mod IQOS in New Zealand: the guide shortlist
Dessert in New Zealand: 6 units tested over 2 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
How to tell a good squonk mod from a repack
Dessert in New Zealand reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Ordering into New Zealand usually means waiting 4–8 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Below is the run we did for this search: 6 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a dessert squonk mod really costs in New Zealand
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In New Zealand that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within NZ$2.77 per 10 ml.
How we tested dessert in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in New Zealand, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a dessert bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Treating the advertised NZ$39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run NZ$2.77 per 10 ml.
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
New Zealand sets its own nicotine rules by regulation, not EU TPD.
Wholesale lines to New Zealand need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should dessert start at?
Start at whatever New Zealand allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
How long does dessert in a squonk mod last?
In New Zealand we measured 2 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.

On the last run in New Zealand: about NZ$2.77 per 10 ml liquid plus NZ$39 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
