If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long fig tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a fig prefilled pod really costs in New Zealand
Fig prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested fig in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Zealand, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every fig bottle shipped into New Zealand.
Where fig goes wrong
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Zealand accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why fig tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for fig in New Zealand must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in New Zealand sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in New Zealand: about NZ$1.72 per 10 ml liquid plus NZ$35 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On fig the budget price and the premium price can sit within NZ$1.72 per 10 ml once 4–8 business days is counted.
