Guava box mod IQOS in New Zealand: the compare shortlist
Guava in New Zealand: 6 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
What guava costs in New Zealand
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Zealand. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Guava in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In New Zealand the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long guava tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a guava box mod really costs in New Zealand
Guava box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested guava in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every guava bottle shipped into New Zealand.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in New Zealand, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where guava goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Zealand accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing guava with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
How long does guava in a box mod last?
In New Zealand we measured 3 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should guava start at?
Start at whatever New Zealand allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
Is guava legal to sell in New Zealand?
New Zealand sets its own nicotine rules by regulation, not EU TPD.
