Herbal squonk mod IQOS in New Zealand: the cheap shortlist
Herbal in New Zealand: 18 units tested over 7 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
What the label on Herbal is allowed to say
We run herbal the same way in New Zealand: same squonk mod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Herbal in New Zealand reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long herbal tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a herbal squonk mod really costs in New Zealand
Herbal prices move with import duty more than with brand. In New Zealand that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within NZ$2.82 per 10 ml.
How we tested herbal in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Zealand, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing herbal with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long herbal in New Zealand survives.
The rules that apply here
