Herbal squonk mod IQOS in New Zealand: the compare shortlist
Herbal in New Zealand: 18 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
How to tell a good squonk mod from a repack
We run herbal the same way in New Zealand: same squonk mod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Herbal squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a herbal squonk mod really costs in New Zealand
If you are looking at herbal in New Zealand, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested herbal in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Zealand stocks.
- Treating the advertised NZ$38 entry kit as the real cost when refills run NZ$3.22 per 10 ml.
- Mixing herbal with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Zealand sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to New Zealand need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in New Zealand?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–8 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in New Zealand: about NZ$3.22 per 10 ml liquid plus NZ$38 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does herbal taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the herbal blend itself harsh.
