Ordering IQOS to New Zealand: the practical version
Most people searching IQOS in New Zealand are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Lemon in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In New Zealand the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: lemon in New Zealand works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lemon box mod really costs in New Zealand
Lemon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In New Zealand that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within NZ$1.98 per 10 ml.
How we tested lemon in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in New Zealand, since tanks and pods go first.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Zealand stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Zealand accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
New Zealand sets its own nicotine rules by regulation, not EU TPD.
Packaging for lemon in New Zealand must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
