Lemon RDA IQOS in New Zealand: the flat shortlist
Lemon in New Zealand: 17 units tested over 4 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
How to tell a good RDA from a repack
Lemon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In New Zealand that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within NZ$1.86 per 10 ml.
Ordering into New Zealand usually means waiting 4–8 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long lemon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lemon RDA really costs in New Zealand
We run lemon the same way in New Zealand: same RDA, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested lemon in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Zealand, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised NZ$37 entry kit as the real cost when refills run NZ$1.86 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Zealand accept nicotine freight.

On the last run in New Zealand: about NZ$1.86 per 10 ml liquid plus NZ$37 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
