Lime box mod IQOS in New Zealand: the order shortlist
Lime in New Zealand: 20 units tested over 2 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
What the label on Lime is allowed to say
A lime box mod from the pre-order options in New Zealand costs about NZ$3.17 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Lime in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In New Zealand the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: lime in New Zealand works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lime box mod really costs in New Zealand
We run lime the same way in New Zealand: same box mod, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested lime in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lime bottle shipped into New Zealand.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Zealand, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in New Zealand, since tanks and pods go first.
Where lime goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
