Lime squonk mod IQOS in New Zealand: the guide shortlist
Lime in New Zealand: 20 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
Coil life, liquid cost and the lime habit
A lime squonk mod from the starter options in New Zealand costs about NZ$3.48 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Ordering into New Zealand usually means waiting 4–8 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a lime squonk mod really costs in New Zealand
Lime in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In New Zealand the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested lime in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Zealand, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in New Zealand, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where lime goes wrong
- Mixing lime with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Zealand stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for lime in New Zealand must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to New Zealand need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions

On the last run in New Zealand: about NZ$3.48 per 10 ml liquid plus NZ$63 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should lime start at?
Start at whatever New Zealand allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
How long does lime in a squonk mod last?
In New Zealand we measured 4 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
