The short version: lime in New Zealand works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lime squonk mod really costs in New Zealand
A lime squonk mod from the online options in New Zealand costs about NZ$3.29 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested lime in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a lime bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in New Zealand, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where lime goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lime tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing lime with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Zealand need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in New Zealand sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in New Zealand?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–8 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in New Zealand: about NZ$3.29 per 10 ml liquid plus NZ$37 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does lime taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the lime blend itself harsh.
