Mango in New Zealand: 12 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
How to tell a good box mod from a repack
Mango box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run mango the same way in New Zealand: same box mod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a mango box mod really costs in New Zealand
Mango in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In New Zealand the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested mango in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in New Zealand, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Zealand, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where mango goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised NZ$54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run NZ$2.9 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
New Zealand sets its own nicotine rules by regulation, not EU TPD. Shipping of nicotine to New Zealand runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
