Melon pen device IQOS in New Zealand: the best shortlist
Melon in New Zealand: 10 units tested over 9 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
What melon costs in New Zealand
The honest read on melon: 10 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Zealand. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: melon in New Zealand works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon pen device really costs in New Zealand
Most people searching IQOS in New Zealand are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested melon in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every melon bottle shipped into New Zealand.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Zealand, not a suggestion.
Where melon goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why melon tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing melon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in New Zealand stocks.
The rules that apply here
New Zealand sets its own nicotine rules by regulation, not EU TPD. Shipping of nicotine to New Zealand runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to New Zealand need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
