Melon squonk mod IQOS in New Zealand: the flat shortlist
Melon in New Zealand: 9 units tested over 6 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
Coil life, liquid cost and the melon habit
The honest read on melon: 9 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
A melon squonk mod from the flat-rate options in New Zealand costs about NZ$3.52 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a melon squonk mod really costs in New Zealand
Melon sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested melon in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Zealand, not a suggestion.
Where melon goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why melon tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Zealand accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Zealand sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to New Zealand need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
