Passionfruit box mod IQOS in New Zealand: the compare shortlist
Passionfruit in New Zealand: 10 units tested over 4 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
How we tested Passionfruit box mod here
If you are looking at passionfruit in New Zealand, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Passionfruit in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In New Zealand the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a passionfruit box mod really costs in New Zealand
If you are looking at passionfruit in New Zealand, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested passionfruit in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every passionfruit bottle shipped into New Zealand.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a passionfruit bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in New Zealand, since tanks and pods go first.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why passionfruit tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Zealand stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for passionfruit in New Zealand must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in New Zealand sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does passionfruit taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the passionfruit blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On passionfruit the budget price and the premium price can sit within NZ$3.57 per 10 ml once 4–8 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should passionfruit start at?
Start at whatever New Zealand allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
