Pear e-liquid bundle IQOS in New Zealand: the budget shortlist
Pear in New Zealand: 19 units tested over 2 weeks, e-liquid bundle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
Delivery, returns and what 4–8 business days really means
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Zealand. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In New Zealand that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within NZ$2.89 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the e-liquid bundle you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear e-liquid bundle really costs in New Zealand
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Zealand. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested pear in a e-liquid bundle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the e-liquid bundle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a e-liquid bundle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the e-liquid bundle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where pear goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in New Zealand survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a e-liquid bundle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Zealand sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
New Zealand sets its own nicotine rules by regulation, not EU TPD.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever New Zealand allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a e-liquid bundle.
Is pear legal to sell in New Zealand?
New Zealand sets its own nicotine rules by regulation, not EU TPD.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the e-liquid bundle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
