Pear RDA IQOS in New Zealand: the online shortlist
Pear in New Zealand: 6 units tested over 3 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
Choosing a RDA for pear
Ordering into New Zealand usually means waiting 4–8 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.

If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear RDA really costs in New Zealand
The honest read on pear: 6 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested pear in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where pear goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Zealand accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised NZ$39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run NZ$2.33 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Zealand need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
New Zealand sets its own nicotine rules by regulation, not EU TPD.
