Plain pod kit IQOS in New Zealand: the online shortlist
Plain in New Zealand: 21 units tested over 2 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
Delivery, returns and what 4–8 business days really means
Plain in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In New Zealand the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Plain in New Zealand reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain pod kit really costs in New Zealand
Plain in New Zealand reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested plain in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in New Zealand, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where plain goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in New Zealand survives.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

On the last run in New Zealand: about NZ$2.73 per 10 ml liquid plus NZ$33 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.

Not automatically. On plain the budget price and the premium price can sit within NZ$2.73 per 10 ml once 4–8 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should plain start at?
Start at whatever New Zealand allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
