Plain squonk mod IQOS in New Zealand: the cheap shortlist
Plain in New Zealand: 24 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run plain the same way in New Zealand: same squonk mod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Plain sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 24 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plain squonk mod really costs in New Zealand
The honest read on plain: 24 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested plain in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in New Zealand, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plain goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in New Zealand survives.
The rules that apply here
New Zealand sets its own nicotine rules by regulation, not EU TPD.
Wholesale lines to New Zealand need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to New Zealand?
Yes, tracked to 4–8 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does plain in a squonk mod last?
In New Zealand we measured 4 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
