Spiced RDA IQOS in New Zealand: the compare shortlist
Spiced in New Zealand: 16 units tested over 3 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
Where buyers go wrong with spiced in New Zealand
Spiced sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The honest read on spiced: 16 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 16 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a spiced RDA really costs in New Zealand
A spiced RDA from the compared options in New Zealand costs about NZ$3.14 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested spiced in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every spiced bottle shipped into New Zealand.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing spiced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long spiced in New Zealand survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Zealand sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
New Zealand sets its own nicotine rules by regulation, not EU TPD. Shipping of nicotine to New Zealand runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in New Zealand?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–8 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should spiced start at?
Start at whatever New Zealand allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
