Tropical refill pack IQOS in New Zealand: the guide shortlist
Tropical in New Zealand: 13 units tested over 4 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
How we tested Tropical refill pack here
A tropical refill pack from the starter options in New Zealand costs about NZ$3.3 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at tropical in New Zealand, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical refill pack really costs in New Zealand
If you are looking at tropical in New Zealand, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested tropical in a refill pack
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in New Zealand survives.
- Treating the advertised NZ$58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run NZ$3.3 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to New Zealand?
Yes, tracked to 4–8 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within NZ$3.3 per 10 ml once 4–8 business days is counted.
How long does tropical in a refill pack last?
In New Zealand we measured 4 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
