Vanilla RDA IQOS in New Zealand: the flat shortlist
Vanilla in New Zealand: 12 units tested over 2 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Vanilla RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run vanilla the same way in New Zealand: same RDA, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla RDA really costs in New Zealand
Vanilla in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In New Zealand the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested vanilla in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long vanilla in New Zealand survives.
The rules that apply here
