Vanilla squonk mod IQOS in New Zealand: the best shortlist
Vanilla in New Zealand: 17 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
The honest read on vanilla: 17 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
A vanilla squonk mod from the best options in New Zealand costs about NZ$2.93 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla squonk mod really costs in New Zealand
If you are looking at vanilla in New Zealand, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested vanilla in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
New Zealand sets its own nicotine rules by regulation, not EU TPD.
Retail sales in New Zealand sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
