Cola RDA IQOS in New Zealand: the guide shortlist
Cola in New Zealand: 24 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
What cola costs in New Zealand
Cola sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Cola RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 24 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cola RDA really costs in New Zealand
Most people searching IQOS in New Zealand are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested cola in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a cola bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Zealand, not a suggestion.
Where cola goes wrong
- Treating the advertised NZ$57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run NZ$2.96 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cola in New Zealand survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for cola in New Zealand must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
New Zealand sets its own nicotine rules by regulation, not EU TPD. Shipping of nicotine to New Zealand runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Cola | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | RDA | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 24 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in New Zealand |
| Coil life | ~7 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to New Zealand | 4–8 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | NZ$57 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | NZ$2.96 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does cola in a RDA last?
In New Zealand we measured 8 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should cola start at?
Start at whatever New Zealand allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
Why does cola taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the cola blend itself harsh.
