Grapey box mod IQOS in New Zealand: the flat shortlist
Grapey in New Zealand: 24 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Zealand.
What the label on Grapey is allowed to say
Grapey in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In New Zealand the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Grapey box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: grapey in New Zealand works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey box mod really costs in New Zealand
Grapey box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested grapey in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a grapey bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised NZ$48 entry kit as the real cost when refills run NZ$2.45 per 10 ml.
- Mixing grapey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for grapey in New Zealand must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to New Zealand need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Yes, tracked to 4–8 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
