The short version: graphite in New Zealand works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a graphite box mod really costs in New Zealand
Graphite sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested graphite in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Zealand, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every graphite bottle shipped into New Zealand.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Zealand stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why graphite tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Zealand sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for graphite in New Zealand must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does graphite taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the graphite blend itself harsh.
How long does graphite in a box mod last?
In New Zealand we measured 2 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Zealand?
Yes, tracked to 4–8 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
